Very impressive

I’m using a new Makita variable speed 5 inch angle grinder (9565CV) with the Pearl blade, and at this point, I couldn’t be more pleased. The Makita is frighteningly efficient, and the Pearl blade is like a hot knife through butter! The blade packaging suggests that what I received is a design updated from what’s on the web site. I don’t know what the old design was like, but this one’s a doozy!
I have a long way to go before this project is completed, and I’ll report back — hopefully not until I’m finished. So far, I’m doing everything from simple cutoffs to very precision cuts on boulders for their assembly in the first course of steps. If there are any problems, they’re totally due to my lack of skill. The tools are extraordinary. This is being quite an experience!
