Mercer Abrasives Type 28 Contoured depressed grinding wheels are made up of Aluminum Oxide grain. This contoured grinding wheel is dished shape which allows for maximum material contact. With internally reinforced layers of high tensile strength fiberglass, this wheel will provide you maximum safety with strong, durable, long lasting grain. Applications include all ferrous metals, steel, structural steel, iron bar, pipe, and welds. These wheels are available with a 5/8”-11 threaded hub for fast easy spin on and off.
